Tannu Tuva
Tannu Tuva Stamps for Sale
The Tuvan People’s Republic (Tannu Tuva or Touva) issued postage stamps between 1926 and 1936 during a short period of republic’s life. Before WW2 Tuva was absorbed by Soviet Russia. Now Tuva is a part of Russian Federation.
Tuvan stamps are popular with stamp collectors because of the exoticism of Tannu Tuva and unusual shape of issued stamps. The government of Tuvan Republic and stamp production were under Soviet Russia control.
Any after 1991 stamps are speculative fantasies.
