Paper seals. Oblatki
Paper seals, called “oblatki,” were used to seal envelopes as a replacement for traditional wax seals. They were used from 1870 to 1917, mostly by official institutions and civic organizations. The seals came in various shapes, designs, and colors; some were simple, while others were finely and artistically designed.
